The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Intermediate Education on Saturday announced the schedule of admissions for the 2022–23 academic year in all state-owned junior colleges. Sale of applications will commence from June 20 and has suggested that classes should commence from the 1st of July for the 2022-23 academic year.

Andhra Pradesh Online Admission System For Intermediate Stream (APOASIS), has been started on its BIE AP Web Portal at bie. ap. gov. in for AP Intermediate Admission 2022. The intermediate admission process is likely to start as per the schedule given below.

The provisional admissions made will be confirmed after the production of the original SSC pass certificate and Transfer Certificate issued by the school authorities, where they last studied. The original SSC pass certificate, Caste certificate, etc., shall be returned to the candidate immediately after verification.

All the Principals are instructed that the students who studied 1st year in Telangana State and other States are not eligible to take admission into 2nd-year A.P. State, as the curriculum of the syllabus is different in both the States. If any student is interested to study in Andhra Pradesh State, they should take admission into 1st year only for the academic year 2022-2023.

Allocation of seats by Reservations

The Principals of unaided junior colleges are hereby directed that they should make admissions only up to the sanctioned sections and up to the ceiling strength of 88 in each section as per the orders of the Hon’ble High Court, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. They are further directed not to take admissions in the combinations dropped by the Board.

BIE Secretary MV Seshagiri Babu had earlier released a tentative calendar that the classes, which begin on July 1st will have 220 working days off the total of 295 working days, while 75 days were declared as holidays. The academic year will end on April 21, 2023, followed by summer vacation from the next day until May 31st.
