AP Govt Striving to Protect Farmers' Interests: AP Minister

Guntur: Speaking to media at Guntur IB Guest House, Housing Minister Cherukuvada Ranganadha Raju flayed Naidu for ignoring waiving of farm loans, providing nine hour electricity for agriculture, setting up price stabilization fund of Rs 5,000 core during his regime and protesting for farmer’s welfare at present only for his political interests. He said the state government has set up RBKs at every village, appointed agriculture assistants and veterinary assistants in village secretariats to support farmers. He reminded that the state government has procured many crops,  including tomato, sweet lime, bananas, turmeric, cotton and many others during the pandemic and also provided MSP to crops like coconut etc.
