AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh government will be hosting an Iftar dinner on the 27th of this month. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be attending the event which will be held at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada.

Arrangements are being made at the Stadium and around 5,000 people are expected to participate in the Iftar dinner. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Minorities Amzath Basha Shaik Bepari inspected the stadium along with former Minister Vellampally Srinivas and Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu and district officials. The Deputy CM requested the Muslim brethren to come and attend the event hosted for them.

As per the itinerary released by the CM Office, the Chief Minister will arrive at Vijayawada in the evening on the 27. After the inauguration of Shahjahur Musafir Khana, and a Photo Exhibition at Vinchipeta, at 5.10 pm, he will meet the Muslim elders there. From there, they will reach the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium and participate in the Iftar program organized by the State government. After the Iftar dinner, YS Jagan will go to CK Convention hall in Mangalagiri at 7.35 pm and attend the wedding ceremony of the son of the Guntur ZP Chairperson Kathhera Henichristina and bless the newlyweds and return to his Tadepalli residence at 8 pm.
