It’s election time and the political chameleon Prashant Kishor is back. PK, who had earlier worked for the YSRCP, seems to have shifted gears now. In an interview to the PTI news agency, Prashant Kishor has said that the ruling party would find it ‘difficult’ to make a comeback as Andhra Pradesh goes to polls on May 13.
Prashant Kishor has changed his tune following his meeting with the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu last year. He had travelled with the general secretary Nara Lokesh and soon after arrival at Vijayawada airport, he paid a ‘courtesy’ visit to Naidu. The visit has triggered intense speculation that the poll strategist would switch his allegiance and work for Naidu. However, Kishor clarified that he was not going to work with the TDP.
Earlier, Prashant Kishor would work as a consultant to the political parties and advise the strategies for winning the elections. He had co-founded Indian People’s Action Committee (IPAC) which is a cross-party political advocacy group. He has since left the group and is currently focussing on politics in his home state Bihar.
