Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed grief over the death of Krishna district MLC MD Karimunnisa. He said that it is very sad that she died of a sudden heart attack last night. He added that she attended the meeting in Legislative Assembly on Friday. CM YS Jagan offered his condolences to MD Karimunnisa.

Krishna district MLC Karimunnisa breathed her last on Friday midnight. She attended the meeting in the Legislative Assembly on Friday and returned home. At around 11.30 pm, she complained of discomfort in her chest. The family members of Karimunnisa immediately rushed her to the hospital in Vijayawada but her life was not saved. She is survived by her husband and five sons.

Karimunnisa was with YSRCP ever since its inception. She worked for the welfare of the party and this year, she was given MLC.
