Anti-Poor Chandrababu Filed 1191 Court Cases to Stop Welfare Schemes: CM Jagan

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused his predecessor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday of attempting to stall the Navaratnalu welfare schemes meant for the benefit of the poor.

CM Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the TDP leader failed to implement any welfare schemes for the poor during his tenure as Chief Minister.

Addressing a public meeting in Ongole, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said that instead of appreciating the good work that has been done, Mr. Naidu filed 1,191 court cases against various Navaratnalu schemes, including the YSR Rythu Bharosa - PM Kisan scheme, YSR Cheyutha, and Amma Vodi.

“Chandrababu Naidu is more dangerous than 100 cinema villains combined. While I am implementing a housing scheme that will help 21,000 families, Chandrababu was busy filing 1,191 court cases to stop the program. You can use this as a yardstick to gauge his anti-poor mindset,” Jagan said.

The Chief Minister also referred to the recent comment made by Naidu's wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, where she spoke about resting Chandrababu in Kuppam. Jagan said, “Chandrababu’s wife Bhuvaneswari is saying Bye Bye Babu in Kuppam, then you can understand the weak situation that he is in. One can understand that people living in AP are not supporting Babu, neither the people living in Kuppam. The only people who support Chandrababu are those who are not residents of AP.
