Anantapur: Self-isolation Key to Breaking The Virus Chain, Says DC

Anantapur: Chandrudu, the District Collector, has urged all the denizens to actively work towards fighting against the deadly coronavirus.

Speaking to the media on Friday, he said positive cases are increasing worldwide. The situation is alarming, and to contain the virus, every citizen must declare self-isolation.

Private hospitals have been warned and strict actions will be taken against them if they charge more and for prescribing unnecessary tests like CT scans etc.

At present, in Anantapur, there are 4,308 active cases. 687 patients are under treatment in the hospitals. 67 of them are in the ICU and 403 are undergoing treatment in general wards. 217 are in covid care centers and 3,602 are in home isolation.
