Beleaguered TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu suffered a jolt in Delhi. The BJP seems not open to entertaining TDP, considering how fickle Naidu switched his loyalties in the past. This is why Chandrababu remained silent even after meeting the top brass of the Lotus party. Now, the BJP is eyeing to isolate Naidu and wants to go with Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena instead. This is turning out to be a headache for Naidu.

Going into details, Chandrababu headed for Delhi on Wednesday to meet BJP's senior leadership. However, Naidu failed to secure an appointment initially. Only after making some desperate attempts, Naidu managed to get Amit Shah's appointment at around midnight. Naidu finally met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda.

Even before coming to the terms, the BJP's national president JP Nadda left the meeting midway. Reportedly, Nadda left the meeting ten minutes early. After this meeting, Chandrababu remained tight-lipped. Usually, publicity-hungry Naidu and his coterie make a lot of hungama over such a crucial meeting. But as the meeting reportedly failed, Naidu is said to be mum.

On the other hand, the BJP has its own plans to gain ground in Andhra Pradesh. It is strongly buzzed that the BJP held discussions with Pawan Kalyan and to finalize the alliance with him. Meanwhile, desperate Naidu is said to be mounting pressure on Pawan Kalyan to secure an alliance with the BJP.

Naidu, who already relies upon Pawan to fight the elections, is now desperate to stitch an alliance with the BJP and ride on Modi's wave. However, the BJP is playing its cards well. It is said that the BJP wants to decide the seats it wants and has stated that it will have the final say over seat-sharing. Helpless Naidu has no other option but is reportedly willing to fall into the BJP's line.

Meanwhile, TDP leaders are deeply worried about these alliance talks. Firstly, several TDP leaders have to make sacrifices for the alliance, and secondly, they have to ensure the transfer of votes happens from party to party. While Naidu is on tenterhooks, miffed TDP leaders are contemplating joining the ruling YSRCP.
