128 New Cases In AP, COVID-19 Tally At 3,245
AMARAVATI: In Andhra Pradesh, 128 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the state's tally to 3,245 on Thursday.
One death was reported in Kurnool district and the death toll in the state rose to 59. The district has the highest number of cases and deaths.
According to the state'e health bulletin, among the 128 cases, 54 are locals and 74 are of migrant returnees.
There are 1,061 active cases in the state and the these have increased due to rising number of migrants and foreign returnees.
At least 68 patients have recovered, taking the recovery tally to 2,125 in the state who were discharged after recovery.
In the state, 9858 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, and cumulatively the state has conducted 3.42 lakh tests so far.
