CM KCR Is A National Role-Model: TRS MP

Nalgonda: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy said the life insurance scheme for farmers (Rythu Bheema) to be initiated on this year's Independence Day is being looked up to by many states. In fact the pro-farmer polices of Telangana government is being praised by one and all in the country and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is inspiring the entire nation by changing the face of agriculture sector, he remarked.

Speaking to media here on Wednesday, the Parliamentarian said the Rythu Bheema scheme is a historic initiative for the welfare of farmers. The scheme would benefit 58 lakh farmers, who will be given Rs. 5 lakh in case of accidental death, he said.

The Nalgonda MP ridiculed Congress leaders' criticism on Rythu Bandhu scheme. The TRS government should be credited for allotting AIIMS and medical colleges in the erstwhile Nalgonda district, he added.
