TDP Ministers’ Dispute Worsens, Ayyanna To Resign?

Visakhapatnam: A row over differences between Telugu Desam Party leaders in the district is getting worsened by the day. Differences emerged between ruling party ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Chinthakayala Ayyanna Paathrudu over transfer of officials in the Animal Welfare ministry. As per reports, minister Ayyanna Paathrudu was instrumental in the transfer of Joint Director Koteshwara Rao and EO Surya Prakash out of the district.

However, minister Srinivasa Rao intervened to re-appoint both of them within the district, drawing the angst of Ayyanna. This is not the first time the two had differences over appointments. Two months ago, Ayyanna was angered over appointment of Venkatappadu as a member of thedistrict DLSA committee. It was after this incident that speculation of Ayyanna's resignation from the ministry began.

Minister Ayyanna responded on the news of his resignation. "Some people are spreading false propaganda against me. There is no need for my resignation. People who are incapable of fighting me rightfully ae resorting to wrong publicity over social media against me. The issue on Animal Welfare minitry is over us. I challenge those people to face me in the political spectrum," he said.
