1 Killed As Mob Attacks Trangenders in Old City
Hyderabad: Ever since the news of abducting children has gone viral on social media, many unknown persons have been attacked by the people suspecting them to be kidnappers. In the latest development, three transgenders were attacked with stones at Naseeb Nagar in Old City in early morning here today. Locals suspected the transgenders as kidnapper gang, pelted stones at them.
On coming to know about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and tried to control the mob. The furious mob attacked the policemen also and destroyed the patrolling vehicles.

To bring the situation under control, the police resorted to lathi charge and shifted the transgenders to Osmania General Hospital for treatment. Of the three transgenders, one of them has died while undergoing treatment while the condition of the other two is stated to be critical.
Similarly, three people belonging to Bihar were also attacked in Madannapet in Old City and are being treated in a hospital.
Condemning the rumours on social media, the South zone DGP Satyanarayana inspected the place and told the people not to panic over the kidnapper gang. He also said that 25 suspects have been detained in connection with the case.
