Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming flick Kaala is one of the most awaited films of the year. Any Rajinikanth creates a huge hype amongst movie buffs before its release. Post Kabali debacle, Kaala has created a lot of positive buzz among the Telugu audiences. Now, we hear that Rajinikanth and the makers of Kaala are planning to hold a pre-release event. If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, Kaala Telugu Pre-release event will be held in Hyderabad on May 29 at Novotel Hotel at 6 pm. Several prominent stars are likely to grace the star-studded event.

The film is directed by Pa Ranjith and it is the director's second association with Rajinikanth after Kaabali. Rajini fans who were disappointed after Kaabali failure are expecting some improvements from Pa Ranjith in Kaala. It now remains to be seen if Ranjith will live up to their expectations. Actually, Kaala was supposed to release in the month of April but due to Tamil Nadu theatre owners strike, it has been pushed to June 9.

The teaser and trailer of Kaala have created immense buzz and received a good response from fans. The film is produced by Rajini's actor son-in-law Dhanush who sold the overseas rights of the film for a fancy price. Rajinikanth is all set to play a mafia don role in the film.
