Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Development Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao was in touch with YSR Congress party wanted to move from Telugu Desam Party to YSR Congress Party, said YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP Vaijaysai Reddy. He further said that Ganta was in a dilemma about staying with TDP or not. "The HRD Minister has always been with the winning party because his priority was to make money and nothing else," he said.

The YSRCP MP said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had vitiated the atmosphere of Andhra University by holding Dharma Poratam in the campus. He alleged that the state police were working as TDP workers and were not allowing YSRCP to take up any activity against the ruling party. Vijaysai Reddy recalled the incident where Visakhapatnam Commissioner of Police had stopped YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the runway in the airport.

He termed the Dharma Poratam (fight for justice) taken up by AP CM in Visakha as Adharma Poratam (illegal fight). He alleged that Chandrababu was misusing the state machinery for his own selfish ends. Vijaysai Reddy further said that there was GO pertaining to denial of permission to political meetings in the university campus. The vice chancellor and registrar have violated the rules, he added.
