KL Rahul Breaks Down After Losing Match
Kings XI Punjab opener KL Rahul played an exceptional knock of 94 runs from 60 balls, under pressure while chasing a big total of 187 against Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians yesterday in IPL 2018. The Karnataka batsman struck a good partnership with Australian batsman Aaron Finch, who made 46 runs off 35 deliveries.
However, Rahul's 94 was not adequate for KXIP, who lost the match by just three runs at the end. Just when the Ravichandran Ashwin-led team looked all set to sail through with the chase, MI's bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah took his wicket in the penultimate over of the innings.
Understandably, Rahul was highly disappointed with his dismissal. The Punjab opener broke down after the match, which was clearly there for KXIP to win.
