Keerthy Suresh starrer Mahanati has received rave reviews from Tollywood celebrities and audiences. So far, we have seen so many commercial films but the Savitri biopic based on her the true story of her life has drawn widespread acclaim. The film is fetching big bucks at the box office.

Keerthy Suresh who has reprised the role of yesteryear actress Savitri has nailed it with her spellbound performance. Naga Chaitanya is seen playing ANR and Akkineni fans are going gaga over his performance. Mahanati is a story of how Savitri pursued her dream to become actress and then the rise and fall of the late actress.

After Bhaagamathie, Mahanati is the second women-centric film which is all set to create new records at the box office. According to sources, Mahanati has turned out to be the fourth biggest hit in terms of premiere number after Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathvaasi, Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Ram Charan's Rangasthalam.

Trade pundits predict that Mahanati could possibly break records set by Bharat Ane Nenu or Rangasthalam by end of its collections. The word of mouth for the film is positive where audiences are raving about Savitri's life and Keerthy Suresh's performance. The filmmakers released the film on a week day and it has started on a fantastic note of $303,456. Just think of weekend collections. Mahanati is likely to be one of the finest performances of Keerthy Suresh till date.
