YSRCP Aims To Wrest 175 Seats In Next Assembly Elections

YSRCP Political Training Session for booth committees in Kurnool

Kurnool: YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's political secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy told the party cadre that the YSRCP was aiming at winning a minimum of 175 seats in the next elections and added that for this, the booth committees would play an important role.

A two-day YSRCP Political Training Session for booth committees started on Monday here which covered the Kurnool Parliamentary constituency which included seven assembly constituencies. The booth committees of these constituencies participated in the training session under the leadership of Kurnool Parliementary constituency leader BY Ramaiah.

Speaking at the training session, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that Special Category Status was panacea for the state. He recalled the meeting of their party President YS Jagan with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the 2014 general elections and before Modi became the PM. The meeting was to demand SCS to AP. He said that Chandrababu cheated the people of AP, while YS Jagan was true to his word.

He called upon the booth committees to inform the people at the ground level about the misuse of power and misleading of people by the ruling TDP government. He pointed out that the TDP leaders were involved in corruption in all kinds of schemes and warned that the leaders would have the shell out the money accumulated through corruption.

YSRCP general secretary Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who also participated in the training session, said that the YSRCP's aim was to fulfill the wishes of former Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajashekara Reddy and bring Rajanna Rajyam in the state. He reminded everyone at the training session that if only YS Jagan had been ambitious, he would have enjoyed power had he sailed with the Congress.
