Looks like Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati is following the footprints of Superstar Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya. Earlier, Telugu films used to have a run time of not more than 2:45 hours. But the latest trend changed after Vijay Devarakonda's Arjun Reddy.

Bharat Ane Nenu run time was two hours fifty-three minutes while Naa Peru Surya had a run time of two hours forty minutes. Now, Keerthy Suresh Mahanati film has joined the list of films with long runtime.

The film has passed the censor test and received a U certificate without any cuts. Mahanati has a run time of two hours fifty-nine minutes which is a bit lengthy when compared to Bharat Ane Nenu and Naa Peru Surya.

Mahanati is one of the most awaited films of the year. Will the film be able to break the collections of Bharat Ane Nenu or Naa Peru Surya? It is a known fact that Mahanati will have stiff competition at the box office. Will Mahanati continue Tollywood's winning streak at the box office? Earlier, there were rumors that NTR would reprise the role of Senior NTR. However, latest reports doing the rounds suggest that NTR will not appear in a cameo.. We are not so sure either he will be seen in a pivotal role or not. But we will get answers within a day. Mahanati Premieres will be held in North America this evening.
