Eluru: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's historic walkathon Praja Sankalpa Yatra is progressing successfully and would reach a new milestone of 2,000 kms on May 14, 2018. "May 14th is a very important day for us. It is our fortune that the Praja Sankalpa Yatra will reach the historic milestone in West Godavari district," YSRCP MLC Aalla Nani said here today.

Along with the party's official spokesperson Thalashila Raghuram, Nani are overlooking the works of a Pylon that symbolizes the 2,000 km milestone.

Aalla Nani recalled that 15 years back, on May 14, 2003, former Chief Minister of united AP, late Dr YS Rajashekara Reddy had held a huge public meeting at Kamavarapukota in this district. He said the morale of the party cadre was high since on the same date, their party Chief YS Jagan will touch the 2,000 km milestone and will address a public meeting here.

The YSRCP MLC also recalled that YSRCP leader Sharmila also reached the 2,000 km milestone at Ravikampadu in this district. He said that the current TDP government very much resembled the previous regime of Chandrababu government. "People in this region are eagerly awaiting YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra and to participate in the festivities that would be organised the occasion of the padayatra touching 2000 kms milestone," Nani added.
