Compensate Farmers For Crop Loses: Kodandaram to Telangana Govt

Demanding aid to farmers who lost their crops due to the unseasonal rains, Telangana Jana Samithi chief Kodandaram on Friday demanded that the government pay compensation for them. He also pointed out that the farmers' did not have weighing machines at the purchase centers nor was minimum support price extended.

Kodandaram also recalled that the promises made by the Telangana government to withdraw the cases filed against the students at the time of Telangana agitation were not fulfilled. He also said that it is unfortunate to punish Munnuru Ravi, who took part in the Telangana Parade Program at Mahabubnagar on September 16, 2012.

The Jana Samithi chief also demanded that the government take immediate action on the Ravi case and sought justice to him.
