Never promised jobs for all, look for self-employment, says KCR

Hyderabad: Hopes of over thousands of youth aspiring to get into government jobs was jolted as Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday

said in the legislative assembly that in his manifesto, he has never promised a job for evert household across the state.

However, he reiterated that the one lakh vacancies would be filled for various governmental posts, adding, that the delay is happening with the ongoing staff divison between the two Telugu states.

In a reply on the appropriation bill, the chief minister said," There are more than three crore families in the state and it's impossible to land each one in a government job."

He exhorted students to lookout for opportunities paving way for self-employment rather relying on government jobs.
