Nayeem Planned To Capture Chhattisgarh, Says Tech Madhu

During the interrogation of Tech Madhu, a former Maoist and a close associate of Nayeem, police came to know of Naxalite-turned gangster’s future plans for Chhattisgarh.

Hyderabad: Slain gangster Nayeem’s criminal empire was not only confined to Telangana, but also had footprints in Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. During the interrogation of Tech Madhu, a former Maoist and a close associate of Nayeem, police came to know of Naxalite-turned gangster’s future plans for Chhattisgarh.

As part of his underworld expansion plan, Nayeem targeted Maoists in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Along with Tech Madhu, Nayeem killed three Naxalites. Tech Madhu alias Thota Kumaraswamy has revealed during the interrogation that Nayeem had a special den in Chhattisgarh.

Tech Madhu surrendered to Police in 2006 and subsequently developed close relations with Chhattisgarh police officials. Then he started preparing to kill Maoists with the help of Chhattisgarh police.

Coming to know of this, Nayeem met Tech Madhu two years ago. Both had reached to a common understanding as Naxalites were common enemies for them. Nayeem made a plan to kill Naxalites belonged to Telangana and AP in Chhattisgarh and then strengthen their underworld activity in the state.

Taking help of Chhattisgarh police, Nayeem and Madhu had hired contract killers so that their names were not revealed. Contract killers killed two Maoists in Chhattisgarh and one in Odisha. In the process, Nayeem had established his own den in the state and held several secret meetings with police officials from this base.Nayeem used to provide information about Naxalites from Telangana and AP to Chhattisgarh police.

Nayeem used to provide information about Naxalites from Telangana and AP to Chhattisgarh police. SIT has decided to probe further based on the details extracted from Madhu. Police arrested Nayeem’s gunman Samuel in Hyderabad.

Police have seized 258 cell phones, over 250 SIM cards, laptops, pen drives from Nayeem’s dens. SIT said that if any data was deleted from these devices that can be recovered to trace out call data and SMS.
