Nayeem Killed 24 Persons, Claims SIT; Registers 99 Cases So Far

SIT so far booked 99 cases against slain gangster Mohammad Nayeemuddin. It’s learnt that SIT is likely to close the file before Telangana Assembly session commences.

Hyderabad: Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing several cases against slain gangster Nayeem, on Monday revealed that as many as 24 people were killed by the Naxalite-turned-Extortionist. SIT so far booked 99 cases against Mohammad Nayeemuddin.

The SIT officials further said that some doctors were also involved in manipulating the post-mortem reports stating that they were normal deaths. SIT has identified that post-mortem reports pertaining to four bodies were manipulated by the doctors. SIT to slap notices on those doctors for helping Nayeem. All the documents and key evidences related to the cases against Nayeem have been shifted to SIT office from Narsingi Police Station.

SIT officials have been inquiring into the nexus among politicians, officials and Nayeem. Two special teams have been formed to source evidences. SIT has already written a letter to Director General, Stamps and Registrations, in connection with identifying officials, who helped Nayeem in land registrations.

It’s learnt that SIT is likely to close the file before Assembly session commences. Meanwhile, Shamshabad Airport Police Station has taken two associates of Nayeem into custody for interrogation. The Rajendranagar Court has ordered police custody 10 days for Faheem seven days for Srihari.
