Hyderabad: Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Tuesday launched Fire safety Week which will be organised from April 14 to 20.
Nayani directed the fire department officials to be proactive and avert fire mishaps. He said that the State Government is planning to establish one fire station in each Assembly constituency, adding, that the action plan would be put in place by next financial year. He assured to modernise the fire services department.
The minister added that the State Government is mooting to introduce online system for issuing fire safety certificates. He said this would be helpful to the business firms and individuals seeking NOCs and clearance certificates.
