Guess Bank Balance Of This Beggar Woman In Puducherry

You might have come across a report in which an old woman beggar in Hyderabad was found with Rs two lakh in her bag. Later after investigation, it was found that she got the money after selling land, and officials helped her to deposit the amount in a bank.

Similarly, a woman beggar in Puducherry was found to have Rs two lakh in her bank account and Rs 15,000 cash in her bag.

According to reports, the woman was identified as 70-year-old Parvatham who used to beg near temple premises. The incident came into light when the temple authorities were clearing the pavement near the place of worship. Officials of the temple informed the police when she refused to leave the spot. Later police checked her bag and found the cash.

According to police, the women also had a bank passbook in her name with Rs 2 lakh as balance. They also found an Aadhaar card in the bag.

According to reports, the woman was shifted to an old-age home. Police also informed her relatives who stay in Kallakurichi of Tamil Nadu.

In a similar incident was also reported from Maharashtra where a beggar who was run over by a train between Mankhurd and Govandi stations in Mumbai had Rs 8.77 lakh in fixed deposits in banks and had coins worth Rs 1.75 lakh in his shanty.
