Bengaluru: Upset over her husband's extramarital affair a 40-year-old woman committed suicide along with her two minor daughters Manasa (17) and Bhumika(15) under the limits of Hanumanta Nagar police station in City on Monday.

Rajeshwari (40), took the extreme step and ended her life along with those of and her daughters Manasa (17), PUC student, Bhumika, studying 10th standard. All three of them were found hanging at their residence in Srinagar Kalappa Layout. In her social media post, Manasa blamed her father for their suicides, police who recovered the mobile said.

In her status' " No one should have a father like Sidhaiah who drove my family to suicide", she said. After noticing the status Rajeshwari's parents tried calling them but, there was no response from them. They rushed to their house only to find them hanging. The residents of Hanumanthanagar alerted the police and shifted the dead bodies for post-mortem to Victoria Hospital.

According to police, Sidhaiah, Group D employee with BESCOM had an affair with a woman leading to frequent quarrels with Rajeswari. As he had left for Tamil Nadu two days ago. Rajeswari with her daughters decided to commit suicide, Police said. A case has been filed against him and he is yet to be arrested.
