Girl’s Relatives Kill Youth Over Love Affair In Karnataka

Doddaballapur, Karnataka: Relatives of a girl killed a youth over a love affair between the two. The victim, Ravi (24), of Mangal village used to take up sub-contracts for a living. As it turned out, he fell in love with a girl from the same village, who also reciprocated his feelings. The girl's family members, who came to know of their relationship, warned Ravi on several occasions.

The two however, continued their relationship, following which her family members decided to take the matter into their own hands. They called Ravi for talks and took him him in an auto to the outskirts of the village. There they attacked and murdered him. They threw Ravi's body in bushes near Gudemaranahalli and left the place, as per a complaint lodged by Ravi's family members. Police registered a case and probing the matter.
