Husband Commits Suicide After Wife Elopes With Her Lover

Doddaballapur, Karnataka: Forty year-old Kantharaju of Hosahalli in Nelamangala Taluka, committed suicide after his wife eloped with her lover. It is learnt that the deceased felt depressed after his wife, Bhagyamma, his spouse of ten years, eloped with her lover. Kantharaju poured out his anguish which he recorded in video before committing suicide by hanging himself to a tree in the village.

On several previous occasions, Kantharaju had warned his wife against her extra-marital affair. The couple have a nine year-old son. Kudoor police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
