Mumba: In a bid to spread the idea of a cleaner and greener world around us, Tata Motors organized free nationwide PUC checkup camps on account of World Environment Day (WED) yesterday. The company’s 570+ workshops across Indiaoffered free pollution check camps to all passenger vehicle customers. Among other things, distribution of plant samplings and customer education meets were conducted to promote awareness about environment & safe driving habits, respectively.
Last year, as part of this initiative, Tata Motors’ workshops tended to a shade over 11,000 vehicles; whereas, this year the company plans to achieve a target of over 13,000 vehicles. Apart from free checkups, workshops provided special offer coupons on Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs), body repairs, engine O/H kits and accessories among other products & services.
