Bengaluru Man Relishing Ashes and Engine Oil

People across the globe have one thing in common that is hunger. Meanwhile, the food one consumes depends upon the culture and location he belongs to. But strangely a man from Karnataka drinks engine oil to satiate his hunger.

Kumara(40) is a resident from Bengaluru, Karnataka has been surviving on engine oil and ash of burnt papers. Apparently, Kumara started working for a person as an employee, when he was 17-years-old but his employer neither paid him on time nor gave him any food.

During that phase, he was hungry and could not get anything to eat or drink and used engine oil to quench his thirst. Since then he had been living on them. However, he tried having regular food like rice.

It turned out bad on his stomach and vomited blood after consuming normal food. While he has coffee and tea occasionally. He burns the papers and eats its ashes. This news about him came into light when he was spotted at the Bus stand of Madhugiri, where the auto drivers tried feeding him, then he denied rice and asked for engine oil .

In another instance, a lady from Chhatisgarh would consume only a cup of black tea every day to survive, for many years now.
