Owaisi Calls Budget 2019, A Copy -Paste Exercise

New Delhi: AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi flayed the Union government over the interim budget by saying the budget is a copy, paste budget. He observed that the budget presented by Union Minister Piyush Goyal lacks broad vision and deep understanding.

Owaisi praised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He took to Twitter that people like KCR are needed to take this country ahead and the PMO has just copied his policies.

Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy also lambasted the interim budget. He questioned as to who was behind the preparation of the budget whether it was financial authorities or RSS ?. Kumaraswamy remarked that when I waived the farm loans Narendra Modi was against it, now he is coming up with sops for the farmers.

Meanwhile, Congress President Rahul Gandhi described the Rs.6000 being given to farmers as an insult. Rs. 17 a day to the farmer was nothing short of an insult according to Rahul, who broke the amount down. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee criticised the Modi government for coming out with a full-fledged budget when it did not have the moral authority to do so in an election year.
