A bull being lowered from top of a building in Karachi, Pakistan

In Pakistan's Karachi, a vendor used a crane to bring down a bull from the rooftop his three-storeyed house to sell the animal at a livestock market on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha (Bakrid) festival. To mark the Prophet Ibrahim's sacrifice of his son, Muslims sacrifice bulls on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

The picture, however, went viral on social media, and it drew severe criticism for the cruel manner in which the bull was treated. In the picture, the bull is seen with its mouth tied with a rope, while its horns sported the national flag of Pakistan.
