Muslims across Kerala celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday with religious fervour. Heavy rains, especially in the northern Muslim-majority districts, acted as a dampener, forcing the devout to hold the events indoors. The chief priest at the Palayam Grand Mosque here addressed a large congregation, saying intolerance should be dealt only through tolerance.
