I’m Not Running Away From Justice, I’m In Pursuit Of It: Chidambaram     

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram, who was "untraceable" since Tuesday evening after failing to obtain interim relief from the Supreme Court to the denial of his anticipatory bail plea, appeared at the Congress office here on Wednesday to address a press conference.
He addressed the press conference among a few congress leaders and a few statements made by him at the conference were;

“To win freedom we must struggle and to preserve freedom we must struggle, I have ben struggling to preserve my freedom. Neither anyone from my family nor I have been accused of any thing in the INX Media Case. There has been no charge sheet made by the CBI. The FIR filed does not imply any wrong doing on my behalf. I have been having Interim Bail and protection in January of 2019. Now 7 months later the High Court has cancelled my Interim bail. I along with my lawyers have been working through the nights to see that the case is moved to the Supreme Court. There will be a statement on the case made by the SC only on Friday. I am seeking protection from the SC and I hope they grant them to me. I am not running away from justice, I’m in a pursuit of justice.”

He had left the AICC office without answering any questions and before the CBI could get there. He has left for his house with Kapil Sibal Sanghvi and it is reported now that he has arrived in his Jor bagh residence.
