Nara Family’s Assets: Lokesh Hides More Than He Reveals

As usual, Chandrababu Naidu family has made their assets 'Public'. And again, it ended up as a classical exercise of under-valuing and figure fudging.

At a media conference in Vijayawada, Nara Lokesh said his total assets were 26.39 crores and his bank loans and advances as Rs 11.17 crore. Thus, his net assets, he claimed were Rs 15.21 crore. Interestingly, his nomination form for MLC elections showed his assets as Rs 300 crore. The total assets of his wife Nara Brahmani is shows as 15.01 crore. Her liabilities are shown as Rs 36.14 lakh. His son Devansh has FDs worth Rs 11.54 crore.

According to the figures shown by Lokesh, Chandrababu Naidu is the poorest of all the family members. His net assets are just Rs 2.53 crore. He owns an Ambassador car worth 1.52 lakh and a residential building in Hyderabad worth Rs 7.75 crore.

Interestingly, the 18 acre swathe of land that they own in Madinaguda has been shown to be worth just Rs 73 lakh. The list of assets did not include the house in Punjagutta, buildings and lands in Tamil Nadu. Also, the assets of Brahmani in Jubilee Hills, Manikonda and Chennai have not been shown in the list of immovable assets.
