Nalgonda: Excise inspector held in bribery case

A Prohibition and Excise Inspector at Suryapet in Nalgonda district was today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly taking Rs 30,000 as bribe.

G Prabhakar was caught red-handed by ACB officials at his residence while accepting Rs 30,000 bribe from the complainant for doing an official favour, a press release said. After recovering the bribe amount, Prabhakar was arrested and produced before the ACB Court here, it added.
