Hyderabad: YSR Congress has said that the commercial agenda of the TDP government has come to fore with the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s announcement about the capital building.

Chandrababu Naidu has placed commercial interests ahead of people’s. He has been mortgaging the state interests to the foreign companies and has put the special status issue on the back burner as a cover-up bid for the charges he has been facing in cash for vote and other issues,’ party general secretary Anantha Venkata Rami Reddy told reporters on Saturday.

His true colours are exposed with his strong hint that the State government will be partner with foreign private companies in the building of the capital and has been discouraging the Opposition Leader when has been trying to go on fast to mount pressure on the Centre for the special category status.

"He has been pursing with his mercantile agenda and giving his governance a commercial proposition as he has been encouraging his known coterie in Singapore and other nations and entering into MoUs to stash away huge kickbacks and profits at the cost of people’s fertile lands,’' he said.

This is the reason why he has not raised the issue of special status with the Centre besides to save his skin from the various scams he is involved in,’ he said and questioned as to why he has not utilized the Central funds sanctioned for capital formation, he said.
