Naidu has TDP leaders' tongues tied

From the time the Telangana issue became top topic in Delhi, political parties have concluded that the Centre decided on the issue. However, till now one person, who was also the head of state once has chosen to stay mum on the issue. The person in question is none other than TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Several leaders cutting across party lines have presented their views on the contentious issue. But TDP leaders haven't made any statements so far barring Kodela Siva who backed united Andhra.

Sources in the TDP say that they have clear instructions from their chief to refrain from expressing any views on the Telangana issue. In the past, some leaders of TDP had resigned in favour of United Andhra. But now they  don't even dare speak on the issue.

Will Chandrababu's silence strategy help him politically?
