Naidu bus yatra a bumpy ride

Looks like there's no end to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's troubles whose bus yatra entered second day today.

Naidu faced the ire of Samaikyandhra supporters on Monday too. As was expected, supporters of Samaikyandhra disrupted the TDP Chief when he was delivering a speech at Podugula demanding that he chant 'Jai Samaikyandhra' slogans.

It may be recalled that Naidu had suffered a similar fate during his Vastunna Meekosam padayatra in Telangana region. The activists had forced him to say 'Jai Telangana'.
Agitated over Chandrababu's silence on the burning issue, the protestors holding placards emphasised that the TDP chief support Samaikyandhra.

According to reports, police didn't need to intervene as there is a special gang to control the protestors.
When the protestors tried to interrupt Naidu's speech raising slogans, police resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse the mob.
Condemning police attitude, they warned Chandrababu of similar situation in all the Seemandhra districts.

It may be recalled here that APNGO president Ashok Babu demanded a letter from Naidu in support of Samaikyandhra state the same way he had written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh favouring Telanagan for smooth sail of his padaytra in the Telangana region.

Now the discussion among the TDP leaders is that they had warned Naidu of this situation much before the start of the yatra. In fact they had even asked Naidu to postpone the yatra to escape the fury of the Seemandhra people. However, Naidu refused to pay heed.

Meanwhile, TRS leaders are lashing out at Naidu for his ambiguous stand on the issue.
