Nagam in police custody, Vidyuth Soudha tense

Vidyuth Soudha continues to be in news after the environment turned tense. On Tuesday too, tension prevailed at the Vidyuth Soudha when BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy came to extend his solidarity with the Telangana employees who are staging protest.

Police did not allow him to enter the premises saying permission was denied for politicians in view of the protests and counter protests of Seemandhra and Telangana employees.

There was a mild altercation between the supporters of Nagam and the police. Police took Nagam into custody and shifted him to jail.

There are rumors that police failed to act when TDP MLA Raghurami Reddy violated the rules by meeting Seemandhra employees at the Secretariat to extend his support.
