Mystery Shrouds Malayalam Actor Sidhu Pillai Death in Goa

Panaji: Mystery shrouded the death of Malayalam actor Sidhu R Pillai after his body was washed ashore a beach in Goa.

According to media reports, the 27-year-old actor who came to Goa on January 12, was found dead under mysterious circumstances.

Although speculation is rife that the actor might have drowned in the sea while swimming, the police is unclear about the cause of his death. Investigations are still underway. Sidhu had played the villain opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the Malayalam film ‘Second Show’.

His father PKR Pillai is a well-known producer in the industry. ‘Chithram’, ‘Vandanam’ and ‘Amrutham Gamaya’ are among other movies produced by him. His son's last rites will be held at his residence in Thrissur, Kerala.

Malayalam film industry plunged into deep shock over the untimely death of Sidhu. Shocked over the tragic death, Dulquer Salmaan took to Twitter to express his grief and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
