Muslim group gets abusive content on FB removed

Following complaints by Hyderabad-based Muslim organisations, Hyderabad police on Friday had certain objectionable material removed from social networking site Facebook.

 A case has been registered by the Cyber Crime Wing under IT Act, 2008 and section 153(A) (promoting enmity between groups) of IPC.
Police had requested Facebook to remove the material.
Police were now trying to trace the IP address from where the objectionable material was uploaded, a police press release said.
