Murali Mohan eyeing TTD post?

TTD Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju is finally out of the post after the state government issued orders abolishing the management boards all temples in the state.

Actually, Bapiraju has his tenure till August 23 and so he denied to quit his post before the date. However, with the fresh orders of the state government, Bapiraju lost his post.

Bapiraju took charge as Chairman of TTD on August 24, 2012.

After TDP came to power in the state, the list of aspirants for the post is too long.

Narasapur MP Gokaraju Gangaraju is now strongly lobbying for the post. Incidentally, he is the brother-in-law of Bapiraju. Gangaraju’s father Rangaraju worked as the Chairman of TTD in 1970s.

Chandrababu hinted that seven BJP leaders may be taken into the management board of TTD this time. With this, Gangaraju is expecting the post.

Rajahmundry MP Maganti Murali Mohan is also among those who are expecting the post.

Further, the TDP leaders are strongly arguing at the party leadership that the post must be given to Rayalaseema leaders this time as the post was given to Coastal Andhra leaders during the earlier Congress regime.

We have to wait and see who will get the post ultimately.
