MTech Students Left In Lurch As JNTUH Delays Results 

Hyderabad: Nearly 32,000 students are left in a fix as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-H) didn't declared the results of a particular MTech course of the first year second semester exams which was held in August.

As per university regulation, the results are declared within 45 to 60 days from the date of examination.

The condition of students who have backlog is worse, as one of the students said, “I have one backlog paper. I can appear for the viva of projects this year only after the backlog is cleared otherwise a year will go waste."

When inquired on the issue, JNTU-H director of evaluation Anjaneya Prasad said that the results will be announced in few more days as they are waiting for the approval from vice-chancellor to announce the results

Meanwhile, students can only take up project work after the results are announced.

However sources reveal that the delay in announcing results didn’t occur for the first time, it happened before in other courses too as the university is short of faculty members.
