Mother dies of heart attack on seeing son's body

Katedan (Hyderabad): In a heartrending incident, a mother died of heart attack after unable to bear the grief of losing her epileptic son in a road mishap.

The incident took place in Brindavan Colony under the limits of Mailardevpalli police station in Hyderabad on Wednesday. According to the police, Gnaneshwar, (30), the only son of Digambar Rao and Meera, was an epileptic since long. On Tuesday morning, Gnaneshwar suffered an epileptic bout while driving his two-wheeler. He fell down and slipped into unconsciousness. He also suffered critical injuries.

Locals rushed him to the hospital but to no avail. He was declared brought dead. After being informed of her son's accident, Gnaneshwar's mother Meera rushed to the hospital where she found her son lifeless. By seeing her son as a dead body, the grief-stricken mother collapsed at the spot after suffering a massive heart attack and died soon after.

Gnaneshwar is survived by wife, son and a daughter who was born just a week ago. The locality is overwhelmed with grief in the wake of the twin deaths.
