MLA Roja stages dharna over suspicious death of student

YSR Congress Party leaders on Thursday staged a dharna over the suspicious death of Mohan Krishna Reddy, 14, a student of Class X at a private school near Varadaraja swamy temple in Tirupati.

Mohan was found lying in a pool of blood during the lunch hour and died on way to the hospital on Thursday last.

YSRCP leaders led by Nagari MLA Roja staged a protest and raised slogans against the school management.

The YSRCP MLA demanded strict action against the accused. She also sought action against minister Narayana, who represents corporate education lobby. Though the school management claimed the incident as accidental, the parents alleged that it was not accidental.

Students union representatives held protests along with the parents demanding an enquiry into the incident.
