Minister gets a taste of traffic jam!

Hyderabadis are aware of what a traffic jam can do to one’s blood pressure. For that matter traffic jams are common in the major metros of our country.

But for the VIPs the road is always wide open and free from traffic.

But on Tuesday it was the turn of the Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathy to get the taste of a traffic jam, that too far off from the city.

The minister who had to attend a programme at Vuyyuru in Krishna District was stuck in the middle of a huge traffic snarl in Kankipadu.

According to sources, the minister was stuck for over an hour in the jam that stretched to several kilometers with vehicles packed from bumper to bumper on either side of the road.

Parthasarathy waited for a long time with patience in his car. After seeing that the traffic police attempts to clear the jam were ineffective, he got out of his car and took upon himself the task of clearing the mess.

Holding a stick in his hand, Parthasarathy directed the vehicles out of the jam in a deft manner and restored normalcy.

It is said that minister Thota Narasimham also accompanied Parthasarathy.
