Minister Ganta's residence besieged in Visakhapatnam

Indira Nagar residents in Visakhapatnam city have besieged the residence of Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Tuesday.

They are demanding not to remove their houses from the area.

The residents raised slogans against the minister. “We are living in the colony for a longtime. How far is it proper to remove out houses in the name of beautification of the city?” asked the residents.

However, the officials of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation promised them the houses who lost their houses.
