Minister Balaraju fires open salvos at Ganta

Though Andhra Pradesh has been grappling with the tirade of bifurcation activity, the ministers of the State are busy with ego clashes.

The simmering differences between Tribal Welfare Minister P Balaraju and Ganta Srinivas, Minister for Infrastructure & Investments and Ports, Airports, Natural Gas  surfaced openly with the comments of the former.
“Who the hell he is to intrude into my affairs,” he said, while speaking to reporters in Visakhapatnam, the district from where both the ministers are. Replying to a question on his absence to the CM’s programme, he reiterated that was not invited for the event and so was unaware about the location of the Rachabanda programme.
In a veiled reference to Ganta, Balaraju advised the politicians to eschew business activities.
“Our objective must be doing politics, but not doing business,” he said.
Annoyed for being sidelined by the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Balaraju stayed away from recent Rachabanda programme at in Visakhapatnam district. He was also upset on the ‘undue’ preference given to Ganta by the CM.
However, he categorically denied the differences with the CM.
“There are no scores to settle with the CM. If there any misunderstandings, they would be settled soon,” he said. Minister Balaraju is likely to hold a press meet in the evening session at 5 PM.
