Minister Akhila Priya’s Brother Distributes Money To Voters In Nandyal Bypoll
Nandyal: While polling is underway in Nandyal Assembly segment on Wednesday, Bhuma Vikhyat Reddy, brother of TDP minister Akhila Priya, caused a flutter in Mitnala village as he was seen violating model code by distributing money to the voters.
Silpa Mohan Reddy's son Ravichandra Kishore Reddy, who witnessed the incident at the village spoke to media persons. TDP Councillor Shivashanker and his men were also involved in luring the voters in the Muslim majority wards. Some of his men also attacked a media representative belonging to Sakshi when he came to photograph the incident at YSR Nagar. In another incident, Councillor Krupakar was also caught distributing money (Rs 2,000 notes) to voters in Ward No. 28.
It may be recalled that on Tuesday, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu violated the model code of conduct by convening a press conference.
